Zim activists challenge legality of Mnangagwa's presidency in court - reports.



Harare – Zimbabwean activists have reportedly dragged President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy, Constantino Chiwenga, to the country's constitutional court, challenging their rise to power by forcing former president Robert Mugabe to resign. 
Mugabe stepped down in power from November, following military intervention  "targeting criminals around him".According to NewsDay, a civil society group and several activists argued that Mnangagwa rose to power through a coup.

The matter was yet to be heard by the court.The activists said that Mnangagwa, Chiwenga, Agriculture Minister Perrance Shiri and Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo violated the constitution by using the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) and security services to push out Mugabe, said a report by APA News

  7. Im happy that we now have a new president , we cant have the same person to lead for 38years.If the new president also eat some money it will be better than having the same person to eat the money for many years.

  8. Zimbabwe taught us a way of fighting without having to strike and damage properties. Whether President Mnanganwa used the ZDF or not, that doesn't matter, what matters is Zimbabwe got the freedom it wanted.
